The helpful firemen

Never give the kids the car keys and then shut the door expecting to open another one quickly as they will press the lock key and not be able to press the unlock button!!

Yep, Sebastian did that today and the firemen had to eventually break a window after getting access to the door handle inside, but as he had pressed it multiple times it was deadlocked and couldn't be opened -silly modern cars!

He was in awe of the fire truck parked in front of the car, not too sure of the fireman trying to break in and a little bit upset that Mummy couldn't take the keys through the glass to open it up.

It was funny though when the fireman eventually broke the window and then put in hand in to get the key and Sebastian shook his head NO.  Mummy tried but her arm wasn't quite long enough and eventually a shovel from a brush and shovel set was used to get him to pass them to Mummy.

Happy endings all around, albeit a little bit stressful at times.

Library staff, school staff, the public and the Fire staff were all brilliant!!

The family so far..

Well to keep in touch with family near and far and update you all, I have decided to do a blog...an easy way to update you with news and pics.  Here are a few of our adventures to date.

Four Kingdoms

We went here in the summer holidays as the children received free tickets for completing the library reading challenge.  When I first arrived mu first thoughts were odd, what an eclectic range of things; climbing frames, animals, go karts...a bit of an odd mix.  But, boy did it work. We only left the first time because we had to go somewhere and the next time we were there from 10 -6 (opening to closing!)

WINGS 2014

Daniel went to the Scout Jamboree over the summer holidays, Cubs could only go for the day but he had a fantastic time.  One of only 2 from his pack who got to go.  Got a special scarf and some international badges he is very proud of.
